Strong Lifts 5×5

OK, we’re not just developing our minds and our hearts here, we need to develop our bodies as well, if we can; it’s part of the package πŸ™‚ This is one of my favorite free weight workouts. I used to do it exactly as presented here but I’ve since modified it a bit to suit my own particular circumstances. It is, however, essentially, the same. It boils down to heavy lifting, high volume, and compound lifts to target multiple muscles simultaneously in three 45 minute (give or take) workouts per week.

No More Trouble Zonesby Jillian Michaels

This video is intense for beginners to early intermediates. It’s about 45 minutes of strength training cardio. It’s one of the workouts I do on my off months of straight up strength training. I’ve used a few of her other videos and this is definitely my favorite and, as far as I’m concerned, the most comprehensive.
